In 1998, Vine International began a project supplying vitamins to orphanages & feeding programs - distributing them via our regular medical relief pipeline to Central America.  If you do this type work, perhaps you have reached a similar conclusion - the type of vitamins we need are difficult to get donated on a regular basis.  Because of the tremendous reports we get from our recipients - we intend to keep developing the project. After testing various vitamins from several sources & trying different distribution approaches - we have concluded a few things:

In 1999, we found a manufacturer to meet these needs at a manageable cost - based on a 1-a-day, fruity, chewable, multivitamin, multimineral, packaged, labeled, & sealed in 1,000 count bottles, covering the ages of 4 years to adult.  Under 4 years is 1/2 tab.

As a result, Vine has been asked to lead a cooperative effort with organizations who have a similar need.  Even with a recent price increase, the cost is $15.50 per bottle - or $5.65 per child per year.
