Justin Hoy
Executive Director
The Hoy family joined the ministry of Equipping the Saints in 2023 after serving as foreign missionaries for several years. Justin leads Equipping the Saints as the Executive Director and Rachel works in the ETS office as the volunteer coordinator/administrative assistant. As missionaries in Senegal, West Africa, they saw the need for local believers to be equipped with Bibles, discipleship resources, and tools for evangelism. Their passion is to equip believers worldwide with the resources they need to fulfill the Great Commission.

Magdiel Gonzàlez
Director of Spanish Ministry
The Gonzàlez family joined ETS in 2017. Magdiel served as a Pastor and church planter in Cuba for 16 years before immigrating to the United States in 2017. Magdiel met his wife, Arlenys, while attending Evangelical Seminary of Cuba Los Pinos Nuevos, where they both earned degrees in Biblical studies. While serving in Cuba, Magdiel and Arlenys were also trained in pastoral counseling and church planting.
As the Director of the Spanish ministry at ETS, Magdiel’s role is to oversee our Spanish inventory, help Hispanic customers find the resources they need, collaborate with Spanish ministries, provide support for projects in Spanish speaking countries, and be a counselor to other Spanish Pastors in the area.
Arlenys currently serves the local Hispanic community as a translator and mentor for new mothers and young families.
Magdiel and Arlenys have 3 children; Lianna, David, and Anna Sophia.
John Starke
Director of Purchasing and Shipping
John Starke has been faithfully serving at Equipping the Saints since 1999. John graduated from Word of Life, New York in 1986. After joining ETS, he quickly became a jack-of-all-trades, working in all facets of the ministry. Currently, John is our buyer for all the books and Bibles for our bookstore, he aids customers with orders and sales, ships orders, helps with financials, and maintains our database.
